If you used 200 units or less in recent months, DISCOs usually bill you as "protected" (lower progressive rates). Above that you fall in the "unprotected" bands where ONE rate applies to your whole bill — crossing into a higher band can jump the entire bill.

FPA (Fuel Price Adjustment) reflects monthly changes in fuel costs and is charged per unit. It changes every month, so your real bill may differ slightly from this estimate.
Unprotected billing applies a single rate to your whole bill. If you cross from one band into the next (e.g. 200 → 203 units), every unit gets the higher rate. The calculator warns you when you are within 10 units above a band start and shows how much you would save at the lower band.
