We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide personal information in order to read this website. If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them solely for the purpose of replying to you. The interactive tools on this website — including the blood pressure checker, the body mass index calculator and the laboratory result explainer — process the values you enter within your own web browser. We do not transmit those values to our servers, and we do not store your health readings.
Reader feedback (optional). At the end of article pages you may answer two anonymous questions (for example, whether the article helped you, and which country you are reading from) and optionally write a short suggestion. We store only your answers, the article name, and the language — no name, email, IP address, or device information. Suggestion text is kept to improve the site and may be emailed to the site inbox; please do not include personal or medical details in it. Feedback is never sold and never used for advertising.

We read public posts on Reddit through Reddit's Data API only to count, in aggregate, which health topics people ask about most — for example, how many public posts in a health community mention a given topic — so that this website covers the topics readers genuinely need. We keep only those aggregate counts. We do not collect or store Reddit usernames, do not identify or contact any Reddit user, do not build profiles of users, and do not infer or derive health or any other sensitive characteristics about any individual. We do not republish, resell, redistribute or share Reddit content, and we never use Reddit data to train artificial intelligence models. Raw copies fetched through the API are deleted within 48 hours, and any content that a user deletes or a moderator removes is deleted from our copy as soon as we learn of it. If our access to the API ends, all Reddit-derived data we hold is deleted. We make no automated posts, comments, votes or messages on Reddit; anything we post there is written and posted by Dr. Umer himself, by hand, through Reddit's own website.
